We are working with a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in the heart of Camden, offering a nurturing and dynamic learning environment. They are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team for a long-term role starting in January 2025.
Role Description:
As a Science Teacher at the school, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will work closely with a supportive team of staff and be part of a school community that values academic achievement and personal growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is enthusiastic about inspiring students and fostering a love for science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring that all students achieve their full potential.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve the science curriculum.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in a science-related subject.
- Passionate about teaching science and inspiring students.
- Experience teaching science at secondary school level (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to cater to the needs of all students.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
