SCHOOL INFORMATION - Science Teacher

The school is based in a leafy and friendly area in North West London and was rated as "Outstanding" by OFSTED in its most recent inspection. This large Secondary School prides itself on an excellent all round education that its students leave with, many of whom go on to University and skilled vocational employment. REQUIREMENTS - Science Teacher

Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage in their career including NQT's. Science teachers and overseas trained Science teachers will be considered for this position, but applicants should have UK QTS or an overseas formal secondary school teaching qualification recognised in the UK. Ideally you will have experience of working in a mixed ability secondary comprehensive school and can demonstrate the ability to differentiate lessons accordingly. The School are happy to accept applications from specialists within any of the three subject areas, having flexibility to adjust timetables to suit.

THE ROLE - Science Teacher

A permanent contract commencing in January on a full time basis, working with a good sized Science department who range in experience. Resources are well planned and shared throughout the team and a collaborative working environment which fosters success is evident. The department is supported by a well qualified and experienced team of technicians. You will be teaching Key Stages 3 & 4 and educating mixed ability students who are in sets based upon ability.

The School is extremely well equipped having benefited from £10 million of refurbishment and development in recent years, new Science laboratories were built to a great specification.
