Responsibilities of the Science Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress in a timely and effective manner.
  • Create a safe and positive classroom environment that fosters a love for Science.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements for the Science Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service (or be willing to obtain one).
