About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring Science Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school community. You will deliver engaging and interactive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5, encouraging a lifelong love for science and helping students achieve their highest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess innovative and impactful lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Cultivate an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that motivates and supports all learners.
  • Incorporate hands-on experiments, multimedia, and creative resources to bring science to life.
  • Track and evaluate student progress, implementing targeted support strategies when necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to further develop and enhance the science curriculum.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and enthusiasm for discovery.

About You:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
  • Possess a degree in a science-related discipline.
  • Demonstrate experience teaching science at secondary level (NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • Exhibit excellent subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Possess strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • Show a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
