Are you a qualified and experienced Science teacher looking for a rewarding role? We are working with a college that is is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate Science teacher to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), specifically those with moderate needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, supporting them to thrive and succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students with moderate SEN needs.
  • Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to meet the individual learning needs of students.
  • Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring that every student is given the opportunity to achieve their best.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members and SEN specialists to create tailored educational plans.
  • Support students in developing key life skills alongside their academic growth.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with moderate needs.
  • Strong understanding of the Science curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
