We are currently working with an outstanding secondary Academy in East London who are looking for a Maths Teacher to join their school on a long-term basis for the summer term.

 The Role

In this role you will be a teaching Science primarily across KS3 with some classes in KS4 prior to exams. Classes are taught in Key Stage 3 as combined science so all-round subject knowledge is essential. You will be joining and experienced faculty team that will be able to provide a supportive teaching environment. 

 The school are looking for a Science Teacher with the following:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Science Specialism
  • A proactive and engaging teaching approach in both practical and theoretical science lesson
  • Ability to use ICT and scientific equipment effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to both staff and students.

Although a comprehensive school, students study an academic, Grammar school curriculum model with a focus on the core subjects in the morning curriculum with longer lessons in the creative subjects in the afternoon.
