The Role:
- Teach General Science to students aged 1116, following the National Curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement.
- Assess, track, and support student progress, ensuring high attainment and progress.
- Work collaboratively within a strong Science department, sharing best practices and innovation.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
The Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong subject background in Science.
- Ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stage 3 & 4.
- Passionate about STEM education, with a commitment to raising student aspirations.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
