The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level in their specialist subject. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the ongoing development of the science curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress.
  • Develop and implement engaging teaching materials and practical experiments.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science department.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Science or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching science at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching A-Level science subjects.
  • Knowledge of recent developments in science education.
  • Enthusiasm for extracurricular activities related to science.
