GSL Education London Branch is looking for a passionate Science Teacher to join a thriving comprehensive secondary school in Tower Hamlets. If you are an experienced Science Teacher or a newly qualified teacher with a drive to inspire young minds, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons.

  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5.

  • Encourage students to develop a love for science through interactive and practical learning.

  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.

  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum.

  • Uphold school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and academic excellence.

Requirements for a Science Teacher:
  • Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school is desirable.

  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
