A Science Teacher is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School in South London.

This Science Teacher position will be full time and long term with scope to go permanent.

If appointed as a Science Teacher you will be required to teach KS3 to KS4 classes.

The rates of pay for this Science Teacher position will range from £190 to £300 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.

The School

The school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

Personal Development was rated as 'Outstanding'.

It has state of the art buildings, which provide all staff and pupils with an inspiring work environment.

Working closely with the associated 6th Form in the area, the team is looking to ensure a smooth transition for pupils that complete their GCSEs and move on to A Levels.

MFL is the schools specialism, with Chinese and English being taught to all Key Stage 3 pupils.

SEN is supported to the highest level in the school, with a specific focus being placed on all pupils to be provided with a ambitious and rich curriculum.

Literacy is highly valued by the team and there is a conscious effort for parents to encourage their children to regularly read outside of school.

Clubs and extracurricular activities at the school include; Volleyball, Football, Chess, Anime/Comics, ICT, Art, Basketball, Boardgames, Theatre, Cooking, Music, Science, Athletics, Boxing, English and Japanese.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you are a recently qualified Science Teacher or experienced Science Teacher

You are also encouraged to apply if you are a British trained Science Teacher or overseas trained Science Teacher.

Having UK QTS will be essential. Applicants without it will not be considered.
