Job Description:

Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a forward-thinking academy? We are working with a highly-regarded all-girls school in Greenwich, seeking a motivated Science Teacher to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire young minds and make a real impact on students' understanding of the sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5.
  • Foster a deep understanding of scientific concepts, encouraging curiosity and a love for the subject.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum, ensuring it remains current and challenging.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs and educational trips, to enhance the learning experience.

Requirements:

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
  • A degree in a Science subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
  • Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
