Responsibilities of the Science Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies.
  • Uphold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.

Requirements for the Science Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A strong background in teaching science, preferably within the UK curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all students.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
