About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and committed Science Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school. You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5), fostering a deep understanding of scientific concepts and inspiring students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that motivates all learners.
  • Use innovative teaching methods and resources to engage students in practical and theoretical science.
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing targeted interventions where needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the science department.
  • Promote a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and enthusiasm for learning.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in a relevant science discipline.
  • Experience teaching science at secondary level (NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
