Our client, a high-achieving secondary school in Waltham Forest, is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) from May 2025 for a one-year maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 Science in a supportive and well-established department.
About the Role:
- Position: Science Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Person Specification & Requirements:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 in a UK secondary school
- Be passionate about inspiring students and fostering a love for Science
- Be committed to delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
- Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate lessons effectively
