Qualified Secondary School Teacher Job Specification:

Location: London
Job Title: Qualified Secondary School Teacher
Contract: Temp to perm
Full/Part Time: Full Time
Rate: £140-£200 p/d (DOE) (Paid to scale)
Hours: 8:00am - 4pm

Qualified Secondary School Teacher Job Responsibilities:

Deliver class lessons, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning
Plan and prepare lessons that are engaging and challenging for all ability levels
Foster an inclusive environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential
Provide detailed and regular feedback on student achievement, progress, problems etc.
Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents within and beyond the classroom in line with established policy
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider school

The ideal Secondary School Teacher has:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
Passion for education and the ability to inspire students.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and students.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

YOU MUST:

Hold QTS or equivalent
Hold valid RIGHT TO WORK in the UK
Hold Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
Provide two professional references
