Here at Remedy we are looking for an enthusiastic SEND Teacher to work at one of leading SEND secondary schools inLewisham, SE23, is looking for a SEND teacher to join their dedicated and experienced team on a long term to permanent basis in February 2025.
The successful SEND Teacher will join a supportive and flourishing team. You will be delivering lessons to allow students to excel academically. As a SEND Teacher you will be composing a stimulating lessons and marking. The role will include working closely with expert support staff, as well as building relationships with parents, governors and the wider community.

Location: SE23, Forest Hill
Contract: Full Time (Ongoing)
Pay: £180-£230 Per Day (PAYE or Umbrella)

Job Description
The school is a mixed school catering for pupils aged between 11-15 years old with Autism. Most pupils also have Autism, Sensory Learning Difficulties (SLD) and additional physical and sensory disabilities.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Must have QTS
- Demonstrable knowledge of and a passion for SEND
- Makaton and PECS - not essential but highly desirable
- Experience working with Complex Needs and ASD
Additional requirements:
- References confirming suitability for the role
- Commitment to Safeguarding
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
