A well known secondary school based in Ealing are looking for a teacher of Design and Technology to join their team. The school are seeking a candidate to start on a long-term contract until at least July 2025. This is a full-time position, but the school is open to part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Salary will match inner London MPS/UPS. There are also available parking spaces on-site.

Teacher of Design and Technology - Ealing, London

* Deliver expert instruction in Design and Technology, guiding students through various design processes, engineering concepts, and technological skills, while ensuring they gain practical, real-world experience.

* Support students' creative development by encouraging hands-on learning, critical thinking, and innovation in design and technology projects.

* Foster a passion for STEM subjects by nurturing students' ability to solve problems, think critically, and develop their skills in both individual and collaborative settings.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent* A relevant degree in Design and Technology or related subject* Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Approachable and encouraging
