SUMMARY

An ’Outstanding’ Secondary School based in Hackney are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Teacher of Health and Social Care with QTS to join start ASAP. This role is full time and will be made permanent for the right candidate.

The successful candidate must be able to teach BTEC National in Health and Social Care (Level 3) and A level Psychology (AQA), with the potential to teach BTEC Tech Award in HSC (Level ½) and GCSE Psychology

Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons to students of various abilities
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively using proven strategies
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation
  • Adapt teaching methods for students with special educational needs
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

The Senior Leaders are seeking an inspirational Teacher who

  • Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Can teach BTEC National in Health and Social Care (Level 3)
  • Can teach A level Psychology (AQA) with the potential to teach BTEC Tech Award in HSC (level 1/2) and GCSE Psychology
  • Can demonstrate good to outstanding teaching
  • Has good/excellent Behaviour Management
  • Can tailor learning to suit each individual learner
  • Has some SEN experience
  • Have a DBS or be willing to undergo a new check
