We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Teacher of Religious Studies to join our team on a full-time, long-term cover basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring Religious Studies lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and discussion.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of engaging teaching resources.
- Maintain high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school-wide initiatives.
- Degree or PGCE in Religious Studies (a related degree or PGCE will not be considered).
- Proven experience teaching Religious Studies at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Religious Studies.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
