Ahead of the next half-term, the Science department are looking to build on a successful academic calendar. School trips, improvements to the facilities and an exciting new curriculum has led to students increased engagement within the subject. For this year, the department are looking for a teacher capable of teaching all Sciences to KS4 level.

Position: Teacher of Science

Duration: January

Contract: Until end of academic year

Location: Havering , London

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging Science lessons to Key Stage 4
• Edexcel curriculum knowledge.
• Assume the role of a form tutor, fostering a sense of community and support
• Instill a love of learning through creative and interactive teaching methods
• Create a safe and stimulating environment for students to thrive
• Teaching all three Sciences
• Developing an exciting curriculum
• Full-time, 5 days per week availability

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• 10-year employment check
• ECT applications are welcomed
• Available to start in September
