Academics is currently working with a prestigious school based in Islington, who are currently looking for a tutor to join the team.

Tutor, Islington London

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable A-Level Tutor to provide academic support to Year 13 students in Maths, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. This role involves working with students to enhance their understanding, boost their confidence, and improve their performance in preparation for exams. Education and training provided.

Tutor Responsibilities, Islington, London:
  • Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions tailored to individual or group needs.
  • Support students in understanding challenging concepts and solving complex problems.
  • Provide guidance on exam techniques and time management.
  • Monitor and report on student progress to the school team.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Tutor Requirements, Islington London:
  • Strong subject knowledge in A-Level Maths, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
  • Ideally, you are currently completing or have recently completed studies in these subjects at A-Level or a related field.
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to commit to 1 day a week from January 2025.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (must be current and valid).
  • Education and training provided
  • Must live or be able to commute to Islington
