Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and encourages positive behaviour.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Prepare pupils for their SATs, providing targeted support and intervention where necessary.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development and well-being.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
