Location: Southwark, LondonPosition: Year 6 Class TeacherContract Type: Full-time, PermanentThe Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 class teacher to join a team in South London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Key Stage 2 (KS2) education and a passion for preparing students for their transition to secondary school. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire and challenge students.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Prepare students for their end-of-year assessments and transition to secondary school.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a rich and varied curriculum.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in KS2, particularly Year 6.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
