Cover Supervisor Secondary School in Westminster
We are looking for a full time cover supervisor to start in September in a secondary school in Westminster. You will be joining a dedicated team of staff who foster a positive attitude in aiding students to thrive in education. This role would suit someone who is eager to create an inclusive and motivational learning environment for all.
About the role:
The successful candidate should be able to lead in the classroom through positive behaviour management techniques in the absence of teacher and have a passion for education. Candidates should have previous experience in an educational setting, preferably in a support role and should be hands-on in the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to expand their CV and gain experience in a school setting. The role will require the successful candidate to support pupils on an academic and personal level.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities for students.
-Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students.
-Foster a inclusive classroom environment.
-Assist and lead with classroom management and behaviour support.
-Have the ability to create and maintain good relations with students, staff and parents.
-Relevant qualifications on SEND training are desirable but not essential.
