We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in South West London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a committed ECT to make a real impact on students’ learning and creativity.

The Role:

  • Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5
  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons across a range of DT disciplines, such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering
  • Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning in a well-equipped workshop environment
  • Plan and assess effectively to ensure excellent student progress
  • Promote health and safety awareness in all practical activities
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular projects, STEM clubs, and competitions

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary school level
  • Strong knowledge of design processes, materials, and modern technologies
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A passion for inspiring creativity and innovation in students
