Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a new position in the new academic year?

Our partner school is currently looking for an ambitious, hardworking individual to join their primary school in the upcoming academic year as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant. You will be joining a team that prides itself on its brilliant adaptive methods, with the goal of encouraging its pupils to be their best in everything they do. You will also work closely with students who have Special Education Needs to help them excel.

As a HLTA, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with class teachers and other members of staff to deliver effective lessons.
  • Supporting children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups ensuring lessons are inclusive and tailored to individual Special Educational Needs.
  • Assist in lesson planning.
  • Ensuring ongoing learning and social development.
  • PPA Cover

The right candidate will:

  • Have a HLTA qualification or equivalent qualification.
  • Be adaptive and ambitious to work in a variety of classroom environments.
  • Have previous experience working as a HLTA.
  • Have the ability to support children with SEN. (Experience preferred)
  • Have a valid, in-date enhanced DBS certificate.
