This full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates in Maths, Science, English Language, or English Literature to gain hands-on experience supporting students aged 14+ with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering and covering lessons
  • Provide personalised academic support to help students achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with teachers to tailor learning approaches for students with diverse needs.
  • Support and track student progress, offering constructive feedback and strategies for improvement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Maths, Science, English Language, or English Literature.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students and teachers.
  • Passionate about education and ready to learn new skills.
  • No prior SEND experience required-just a willingness to develop and grow in this area.
  • Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through TimePlan Education.
