Higher Level Teaching Assistant
£120 - £140 per day
February 2025 - July 2025
An Ofsted graded ‘Outstanding’ school setting are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team. The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will follow the below schedule :
- Morning – Covering pre planned absences/on the day absence cover / class cover
- Afternoon – Be based in a Year 6 Class, delivering other subjects
For the Year 6 aspect of the role, all lessons will be pre-planned for you, and work is ‘live-marked’ throughout the lesson
The successful candidate must bring energy and passion to their role and be willing to be a flexible team player when called upon.
In addition to the schools brilliant working environment, you have the option to attend fortnightly CPD sessions after school, of which you will be paid for your time
The school is easily accessible from both Alexandra Palace and Wood Green Station
Requirements
The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of Teaching. You could be experienced, have unqualified teaching experience, or hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant certificate
- A fully enhanced DBS registered to the update service, along with 2 professional references.
