Responsibilities:
  • Lead small group and 1:1 interventions, providing additional support to students across different age groups.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and classroom activities.
  • Deliver lessons in the teacher’s absence, following pre-planned materials to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized learning plans (IEPs) and track students’ progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the wider school community to support student success.
Candidate Requirements:
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience supporting students within a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of effective teaching strategies and classroom management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, flexible approach and a genuine passion for education.
  • Commitment to supporting inclusive and engaging learning environments.
