  • Support teaching staff to prepare classrooms for lessons and tidy up at the end of each session;
  • Prepare vibrant displays of student work or thematic material;
  • Support a range of students in class;
  • Offer support to students who may be experiencing temporary difficulties;
  • Maintain a safe working environment;
  • Provide interventions to individual students at the direction of the teacher (e.g. reading, practicing basic maths, playing a game, other work);
  • Liaise with hospital ward staff to ensure the wellbeing of our students.

Key Requirements:

  • HLTA with prior experience
  • Degree qualified and/or Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Previous experience in a Primary School setting
  • Not required to have worked within a mental health setting previously
  • A upbeat and bubbly personality
