HLTA - Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Primary School, Southwark

With excellent transport links, the school is just a 5-minute walk from the nearest tube station, and parking is available for those who prefer to drive.

Position Details:

• Role: HLTA - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
• Location: Southwark, South East London
• Start Date: November 4th onwards
• Daily Rate: £100 - £120 per day (Directly through our payroll team on PAYE)
• Hours: Full-time - 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Parking available: Yes
• Transport links: 10-minute walk from the nearest tube station, local bus routes

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide SATS support in Year 2 and Year 6
• Cover classes throughout the school when needed
• Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging learning activities
• Offer targeted support to small groups and individual students to boost attainment
• Ensure the well-being and safety of all pupils during class cover and support sessions

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working as a HLTA - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to work independently
• Experience in SATS preparation is highly desirable
• A passion for working with primary-aged children and helping them achieve their potential
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
