Location: Brixton, Lambeth
Position: HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) - EYFS
Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Rate: 110 - 135 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: ASAP
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brixton is seeking a dedicated HLTA to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA to make a real impact in a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead small group sessions and whole-class activities in EYFS.
- Support children's development through engaging, play-based learning.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver planned lessons.
- Provide targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs.
- Assist with classroom preparation, assessment, and behaviour management.
What We're Looking For:
- HLTA qualification or extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant.
- Experience working with EYFS pupils in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development and the EYFS curriculum.
- A proactive, adaptable, and nurturing approach to learning support.
