Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next challenge in a vibrant and supportive secondary school? We are seeking a committed individual to join our team in Greenwich on a full-time, long-term basis, starting immediately.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students in a mainstream classroom setting, including small group work and one-on-one support.
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation, classroom management, and differentiated instruction for students of varying abilities.
  • Helping students with special educational needs (SEN) to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering student engagement and well-being.
  • Providing feedback to teachers on student progress and assisting with record-keeping.
  • Supporting students' social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour, and encouraging participation in school life.
  • Working closely with the SEN team and other support staff to ensure that every child receives the support they need.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
  • Experience working in a secondary school setting or similar educational environment is preferred.
  • A current DBS on the Update Service is required.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students in reaching their full potential.
