We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Merton. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to support pupils in their learning journey and contribute to their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide classroom support under the direction of the class teacher.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of learning activities.
- Offer 1:1 or small group support for students, including those with SEN.
- Help maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the monitoring and assessment of student progress.
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience working in primary or secondary school settings.
- Understanding of the National Curriculum and ability to support differentiated learning.
- Knowledge of SEN practices and experience working with children with additional needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
