The position is full-time from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, starting ASAP on a long-term, temp-to-perm basis.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of professional references and previous school experience, particularly with mild special educational needs (SEN).
The role offers a pay rate of up to £105 per day and involves working closely with teachers and other TAs to provide holistic support.
Applicants must have an enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one and have the legal right to work in the UK.

We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant at a mainstream Secondary across South East London for children aged 5 - 16.

Starting ASAP on a full time & long term, temp to perm basis.

Learning Support Assistant summary;

Teaching Assistant with a mild SEN experience.
Starting ASAP on a full-time basis.
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3:30pm.
Pay up to £105 per day.
You may be working outside the classroom on a 1:1 basis
Working closely with the class teacher and other TAs in your group to provide holistic support to children.
Most children are working on the Engagement Model of Learning which focuses on 5 main areas: Exploration, Realisation, Anticipation, Persistence & Initiation.
Rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

Approachable management.

Teaching Assistant requirements;

Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one).
Minimum of 2 years professional references.
MUST have previous school experience
Provide a CV with a full history from your education until present.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
Some experience supporting children or young adults with special needs.
