We have a new opportunity for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join a growing FM provider. You will responsible for maintenance on Alarms,CCTV and smoke controls.
About the role of Fire Alarm Engineer:
We are looking for a multi skilled Mechanical Engineer
Responsibility for the role of Fire Alarm Engineer
- Identifying technical issues with the systems being worked on and carrying out corrective actions.
- Identifying potential remedial works or variations during PPM/reactive visits.
- Leading and undertaking planned preventive maintenance on fire alarm and smoke control systems.
- Produce maintenance reports and defects logs.
- Rectify faults and defects.
- Ability to demonstrate core knowledge of fire detection and fire alarm system maintenance work (including BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations).
- CCTV and access control would be beneficial but not required.
- AOV and smoke control would be beneficial but not required.
Experience Required for the role of Fire Alarm Engineer:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
