Fire Alarm Installation Engineer  London - M25 Corridor      Regional are working alongside one of the UK's largest, fortune 500 accredited M&E facilities companies looking for a Fire Installation Engineer to cover a route along the m25 corridor on various government sites.   

Skills:

  • Proven knowledge on relevant Fire standards BS 5839 Pt 1 – 2013, BS 6266 Pt 1 – 2013,
  • City and Guilds 236 pts 1&2 electrical installation or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to install containment and cabling specifically related to fire detection and alarm systems.
  • Proven experience on working in industrial environments.
  • 17th / 18th Edition Electrical qualification.
  Responsibilities:
- Install fire detection and alarm systems in compliance with BS5839pt1 2013 and BRE/LPS1014 installation regulations.
- Follow all necessary duties and responsibilities, including required training and medical evaluations, for working in radiological and explosive controlled areas.
- Submit timesheets on a weekly basis.
- Adhere to policies concerning Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Technical Compliance that impact customers and employees.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant engineering practices.
- Maintain company-provided equipment in proper working condition.
- Maintain punctuality and cleanliness.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with the Company Safety Manual.
- Provide progress updates to the manager as requested.
