Fire Alarms Package Manager Opportunity - Tier 1 MEP Contractor - Major Commercial Development

MK Search are currently working with a leading M&E contractor who are looking for a package/site manager to oversee a complex specialist fire alarm package on a very notable commercial scheme in central London. The project is the redevelopment of a historic building in Fleet Street which will include 18 court rooms and a large scale office building, this flagship project is expected to run until late 2026 and has £150m full construction value.

The company in question are a big name in the data centre, commercial and life sciences markets across the UK and Ireland, they have grown from strength to strength and currently turnover c. £500m.

General Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and management.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.
  • Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers to allocate resources effectively and ensure projects are adequately staffed and equipped.
  • Oversee the installation of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure the proper functioning of fire alarm systems and adherence to design specifications.
  • Provide project updates and progress reports as needed.

Joining from the very beginning of the scheme, you will work as part of a talented MEP management team and be specifically responsible for overseeing and managing the specialist subcontractors delivering the £4m fire alarm package across the development.
