Service Operations Manager - Fire Alarm systems

Our client are a long-standing Fire protection company, boasting over 25 years of service to the Fire and Security industry, with over 300 members of staff. They pride themselves on delivering complex fire and security solutions to their clients with lifetime value. The clients they work with are vast, across all commercial, retail, public sector and construction industries. 

Responsibilities of a Service Operations Manager for the Fire Alarm industry

  • Managing and improving processes
  • Management of the Line Manager and Fire Alarm team, including the recruitment of
  • Ensuring compliance and quality of works by engineering staff, including sub-contractors 
  • Managing budgets, ensuring profitability 
  • Managing and delegation of engineer escalations within the team
  • This will be an office based role, currently the teams consists of 8 to 10 fire alarm engineers, which will grow to 12+, as well as 2 administrators 

For this role you must have a strong background as an engineer within the fire and security industry, as well as time served management experience.
