Bar Supervisor

Are you a passionate and dynamic professional bartender or headbartender looking for a change or a new direction? We are looking for an experienced, confident and motivated head bartender to help run our busy cocktail bar.

About: The Lucky Pig is a busy, vibrant, late night, award winningcocktail bar known also as a destination music venue. Specialising in quality classic and unique cocktails, well renowned, award wining masterclasses alongside a small menu of delicious sharing platters and pizzas. The Role: You will be a key member of the bar team working to exceedexpectations, inspiring your colleagues with your knowledge, skills and passion for exceptional drinks and great customer service. With future promotion to Bar Manager a possibility within the first year.

Working closely with the GM and managing the bar staff, you will:

• Expertly manage and motivate the bar and service staff.
• Run masterclasses effectively and efficiently, when required.
• Be responsible for stock and cost control as well as wet and dryordering.
• Assist the General Manager with recruitment, training and staffscheduling.
• Ensure the bar is kept in excellent condition pre, post and duringservice.
• Be responsible for undertaking the operational tasks required for thesmooth daily running of the bar such as bar set-up and break-down.
• Mix and deliver premium cocktails to the highest standard, ensuringexceptional and consistent drinks are delivered to guests.
• Work collaboratively with the bar team and to deliver exceptionalstandards of service
• Uphold industry workplace best practices such as Food and Beverage/ Health and Safety.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have significant previous bar experience.
• Have an excellent knowledge of classic and modern cocktails and astrong working knowledge of the spirits industry and a passion for drinks is necessary.
• Have excellent bartending skills, an eye for detail and the ability toinnovate.
• Have experience designing cocktails.
• Be confident, capable and creative, with passion and commitment todelivering consistently excellent drinks in a vibrant environment.
• Have natural hospitality skills, energy, enthusiasm and the ability towork effectively as part of a team.
• Have the ability to be fast and efficient whilst maintaining a first classstandard of drinks.
• A desire to broaden their skill set and progress their career
• High standards of personal presentation and fluent spoken and writtenEnglish.
• A current bar license.
• Be eligible to work in the UK or have a valid UK work permit/visa
