On behalf of my client, who is a market leader in property management, i am recruiting for a night duty manager to join the team at a development in Chelsea.

The salary offered for this position is £34k

4-on-4-off pattern 8pm to 8am.

For the Night Duty Manager, my client is looking for an individual who is hands-on, process driven, and has some people management experience as they will have 4 concierge and security team reporting to them.

They should have excellent customer service skills, be computer literate, have a good understanding of health and safety, and be willing to grow with the project as they have several years ahead in terms of mobilisation.

Will need to have excellent communication and written skills are required, and additional language skills could be beneficial.

  1. 3 plus years Experience essential.
  2. Managing a team of 4 concierge, creating the rota and arranging cover.
  3. Some overtime required.
  4. Excellent written communication and customer service.
  5. Understanding of the vital importance of fire and health and safety issues.
  6. Be able to provide weekly health and safety reports that are accurate and detailed.
  7. Be able to lead and motivate the night team ensuring that all SOPs and procedures are followed.
  8. Comprehensive understanding of the SOPs, reporting, procedures, HIU bookings and all other administrative tasks.

Initiative and a calm outlook, dealing with pressure adequately and being able to manage and stand on his or her own two feet

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Duty Manager oversees all daily operations at the development and is the first point of contact for any incidents or issues related to customers, team members and visitors. They should utilise staff, contractors, and the other resources available to ensure the highest quality of service is provided, meeting all requirements of the management contract, lease(s) and service standards. The Duty Manager should be a champion of Health & Safety and the values.

Team Leadership - manage and lead your team to ensure high standards across the development. Proactively be part of the recruitment and development of your team, ensuring all standard operating procedures, as well as HR polices are followed.

Contractor management - working with other site team members, oversee the developments contract / contractor management routines, utilising systems to ensure contracts are effectively implemented, and contractor works and behaviour are effectively monitored to ensure they reach the highest standards.

Asset Management - support the ongoing asset management routines of the development, aiming to ensure planned maintenance tasks, risk action tasks and mobilisation tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

Mobilisation - support the mobilisation process including liaison with clients, the support teams, and other stakeholders involved in the mobilisation of the site. Ensure mobilisation tasks are meticulously completed and recorded in the relevant systems.

Health & Safety - be a champion of Health & Safety at the development. Take ownership of ensuring risks are identified and actioned. Liaise with other team members, the client, the support teams, contractors and customers to ensure high standards of health & safety and risk management.
