We're hiring a Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to join our client in London. They have worked at building a portfolio of Commercial and Retail projects and needs a project manager to come in and service their clients.

As a Fire Sprinkler Project Manager, you'll oversee the planning, installation, and commissioning of fire sprinkler systems across commercial and residential projects. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and up to high safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet required safety and quality standards.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives align with client expectations.
  • Team Oversight: Oversee a skilled team of engineers and subcontractors, ensuring work is done efficiently and meets industry codes and regulations.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all project activities comply with fire safety regulations and produce relevant documentation, including risk assessments, compliance reports, and system certificates.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct site inspections and audits to verify that installations meet design specifications and operational standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve project issues, providing solutions for any technical challenges that arise during installation and commissioning.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in fire sprinkler system project management within the construction or fire protection industry.
  • Strong understanding of fire safety standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience handling multiple, large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Relevant certifications in project management and fire protection (e.g., LPCB, FPA) are advantageous.
