Dove & Hawk are working in partnership with a high end residential Property Management firm in Central London. They are currently in the process of adding a full-time, permanent Night Porter/Concierge to the team in Kensington High Street. This role would suit someone who has at least a years' prior experience working in a Residential Concierge/Hospitality role:Duties/Functions of the role:
- Meeting and greeting residents and their guests on arrival.
- Attending to residents and visitors' needs and wants within reasonable expectations.
- Opening doors, carry parcels and suitcases.
- Assisting management with maintaining records and daily administration.
- Reporting any Health and Safety concerns to the General Manager and Deputy Manager.
- Checking vacant flats on a weekly basis, part of this will include running the taps and appliances, checking for leaks and any other potential problems, taking meter readings, noting maintenance issues.
- Ensuring timely communication with residents, contractors and management via email/ phone.
- Performing daily/weekly/monthly building checks.
- Communal key/ apartments key and parcel management.
- Carrying out basic DIY as and when required, this may include changing light bulbs or fuses for example.
- Overseeing tradesmen working on site.
- Maintaining a high level of security measures at the property.
Requirements of the role:
- At least 1+ years' experience working as a Residential Concierge or within Hospitality as a Porter
- The ability to work 9:45pm to 7:30am Monday to Thursday.
- Passion for Customer Service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good level of computer skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Good understanding of how to build and maintain strong working relationships.
