We are currently looking for a Public Protection Officer to work with a Local Authority based in London, on a hybrid basis. The role will involve working as part of an environmental team across the following areas:
- Noise/acoustics
- Statutory nuisance
- Air quality
Within your specialised area you will be required to complete the following responsibilities:
- Process any complaints and respond appropriately, including serving notices
- Manage a caseload of work to ensure complaints are monitored
- When needed attend court proceedings
Candidate requirements:
- Must have a driving license with access to own vehicle
- Previous experience of working within a similar role covering multiple disciplines
- Degree in Environmental Health or equivalent qualification is desirable
