Watford - Hybrid 3x days a week on site

Sanderson is working with a business who require a Defect Manager to join a large programme of work. The right candidate will have a proven track record as a Defect Manager on large transformation programmes. This role will be based in my clients Watford office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Keeping a close relationship with the Environment and IT leads to ensure environment is fully provisioned for testing.
  • Ability to produce high quality defect MI and documentation for partners.
  • Leads and adheres to the blocking issue procedures for recorded defects.
  • Good experience in using ALM, Jira & Confluence.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to present complex ideas in simple terms customised to the target audience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in conducting full root cause analysis on high severity defects and drive forward mitigating actions to prevent reoccurrence.
