This is a great opportunity for a Senior Legal Professional to join a boutique international law firm as a Non-executive Director to provide guidance and advise 2 days per months. It is a part-time remote (or hybrid, whichever is most suitable) position which could suit a busy senior professional or a retired legal executive, who can add value to a close-knit dynamic team with client book development and general legal advice. The firm specialises in dispute resolution, human rights and immigration, sanctions and asset recovery legal services and manages high-profile international legal cases.

Responsibilities

  • Advising on the on-going high-profile cases related to current international dispute resolution, sanctions and asset freezing etc.
  • Advising on regional and international trends in precedents pertaining international sanctions
  • Reviewing cases alongside legal experts and applicable victims
  • Advising on organisational, operational, and financial strategies of the firm through strategic thinking and direction
  • Bringing new potential clients/cases, while upholding a culture of collaboration, integrity and professional excellence

Key Skills Required

  • A sound legal expertise within dispute resolution of high-profile cases of the following specialties of law: dispute resolution, sanctions, asset recovery, reputation management
  • Potential to bring clients for the firm is highly desirable
  • Willingness to contribute to the firm’s success by sharing your expertise
  • Comfortable with the 2 days per month work schedule
