Our client, a leading contract manufacturer and AM service bureau, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. Based around the London region of UK, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising their stereolithography (SLA) machines utilised from3D Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting:Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SLA machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Part Production and Quality Control:Prepare, monitor, and post-process printed parts, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Process Optimization:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize print processes and improve output quality.
- Quality Assurance:Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions.
- Machine Setup and Calibration:Configure and calibrate printers for new projects.
- Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
- Technical Support:Provide technical support and training to team members.
- Documentation:Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, print jobs, and inventory.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise:Strong understanding of SLA industrial technology and related AM processes.
- Mechanical and Electrical Skills:Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance of SLA machines.
- Problem-Solving:Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
