REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have minimum 4+ years experience within fashion
  • Ladieswear background is essentials
  • Wovens & Jersey experience desired
  • Print design ability
  • Ability to use Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign

AS THE DESIGNER:

  • You'll care about working collaboratively with your wider team for commercial information
  • You'll be passionate about new & emerging trends
  • You''ll proactively protect the brands image & identity though cohesive ranges
  • It'll be imperative to understand and set consumer profiles whilst monitoring the competition at all times
  • Ability to move Best Sellers on through maximisation
  • Source and develop new prints, driving newness at the start of the season and with in-season trading
  • Take the time to understand trade data and work into actions from weekly meetings
  • Work to a clear option count for upcoming ranges with your buyer and merch
  • Attend all fit sessions where possible
  • Clearly communicate designs to the supply base
  • Meet and manage suppliers
  • Strong ability to present all ideas, new concepts and initial samples
  • Drive newness constantly, sharing competitor, inspiration and social media/influencer direction weekly, if not daily
