My client are seeking a Senior Fashion Designer with a specialism in trend-led design and multi-product experience, including jersey, knit, denim, and tailoring. This role involves leading the design team for a renowned brand, overseeing the creation and development of collections, and managing design projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
Day-to-day of the role:- Serve as the lead designer for the brand, guiding the direction of the collections.
- Oversee junior designers, providing guidance and support in their development.
- Conduct research and develop designs for the brand’s collections.
- Manage the critical path of all design work to ensure timely completion and high standards.
- Handle the brand’s Special Make-Up (SMU) projects from concept to execution.
- Travel for inspiration and development purposes, incorporating global trends and innovations.
- Provide creative input for marketing strategies and attend photoshoots as required.
- Proven experience in fashion design, particularly with jersey, knit, denim, and tailoring.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the changing needs of the business.
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
