As a Principal Maritime Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing engineering solutions for civil maritime structures. You’ll apply your expertise in steel, concrete, timber, and other materials, working across all project stages from inception to design completion. Your technical and commercial experience will be crucial in liaising with your teams to ensure project success. This is an opportunity to lead with both technical oversight and commercial awareness while mentoring junior staff. 

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Have a Masters degree, chartered, with 7+ years’ experience.
  • Strong technical background in maritime structures.
  • Independently carry out design and analysis work, whilst mentoring and quality controlling your teams work
  • Show strong inter-personal and communication skills - articulate orally and in writing with team members, clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with CDM regulations and Quality Management Systems.
